BRAC History
Owned and operated by Dr. Burns since 1992, Boston Road Animal Clinic has served the greater Lexington area, providing wellness care to canine and feline patients. BRAC operated as a single DVM practice until 2023, when Dr. Burns announced his retirement.
Boston Road Animal Clinic was purchased by Dr. Karen Young in January 2023, and has since, seen a great transformation. With the addition of new surgery suites, multiple exam rooms, and a diagnostic laboratory, BRAC is able to provide the high-quality care our clients have come to expect. Dr. Young plans to share in the footsteps Dr. Burns created to cultivate the community around BRAC and provide care to thousands of dogs and cats alike. Through Boston Road's transition, we look forward to bringing diagnostic medicine to our patients, taking patient care to the next level.
